1. Who we are

This website is operated by HuberWorks B.V., an independent wireless engineering consultancy based in the Netherlands.

2. What personal data we process and why

We process personal data only in the following specific circumstances.

Email enquiries. When you contact us by email at jennifer@huberworks.nl, we receive your name, email address, and the content of your message. This data is used solely to respond to your enquiry. It is not shared with third parties, is not used for marketing, and is not added to any mailing list.

Legal basis: Legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Responding to unsolicited professional enquiries is a legitimate business interest. This interest is not overridden by your rights and freedoms given the strictly limited and expected nature of the processing.

Consultation bookings. When you schedule a consultation via our booking link, your name, email address, and scheduling preference are processed by Cal.eu, an EU-hosted scheduling service. Cal.eu operates under its own privacy policy, available at cal.eu/privacy. HuberWorks B.V. has entered into a Data Processing Agreement with Cal.eu as required by Article 28 GDPR.

Legal basis: Pre-contractual steps at your request (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Website technical data. This website is hosted by Ghost Foundation Ltd, a UK-registered non-profit organisation. Ghost's infrastructure processes standard server log data including IP addresses and browser information as part of normal website operation. This processing is governed by Ghost Foundation's privacy policy at ghost.org/privacy. Following the UK's adequacy decision under Article 45 GDPR, transfers to Ghost Foundation Ltd are lawful.

3. Cookies

This website uses only technically necessary cookies required for basic platform functionality. We do not use analytical, advertising, or tracking cookies. We do not use Google Analytics or any similar tool.

Technically necessary cookies are exempt from consent requirements under Article 5(3) of the Dutch Telecommunications Act (Tw). No cookie consent banner is required.

4. Third-party service providers

The following processors handle limited data on our behalf:

Ghost Foundation Ltd — website hosting (United Kingdom, Article 45 adequacy) Cal.eu — appointment scheduling (European Union)

No other third parties receive your personal data. We do not sell, rent, or transfer personal data to any other party.

5. Retention periods

Email enquiries: retained for 24 months from the date of last contact, unless a longer period is required to fulfil a contracted engagement.

Booking data: managed by Cal.eu according to their retention policy.

Server logs: managed by Ghost Foundation Ltd according to their retention policy.

6. Your rights

Under GDPR, you have the following rights in relation to your personal data:

Right of access (Article 15): You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you. Right to rectification (Article 16): You may request correction of inaccurate data. Right to erasure (Article 17): You may request deletion of your data where there is no overriding legal basis for retention. Right to restriction (Article 18): You may request that we limit how we use your data in certain circumstances. Right to data portability (Article 20): You may request your data in a structured, machine-readable format. Right to object (Article 21): You may object to processing based on legitimate interest.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at jennifer@huberworks.nl. We will respond within 30 calendar days. We will not charge a fee for standard requests.

7. Complaints

If you believe we have handled your personal data unlawfully, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority:
